Q: WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED?
Q: WHAT’S THE ONE WORKOUT YOU ALWAYS DREAD? WHAT’S THE ONE WORKOUT YOU ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO? WHY?
Murph... I mean come on, there's no getting around it sucking. I look forward to a workout my best friend and I used to do together all the time and I named it after him, "The General Marlowe"
Q: WHAT LESSONS HAVE YOU LEARNED FROM FITNESS THAT HAVE SERVED YOU THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE?
Small steps over a long period of time yield greater results than giant leaps that might get you injured.
Q: WITH ANY NEW MODALITY YOU GET INTO, HOW DO YOU APPROACH IT IN ORDER TO MASTER?
Treat it like you are a little dumb guy who has to be taught everything and leave your ego at the door. Then fail and fail and fail again until you get it right.
Q: WHAT IDEA, PERSON OR BOOK HAS BEEN THE MOST INFLUENTIAL IN YOUR LIFE? WHY?
You might think this is weird, but I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z and Goku is my OG motivational figure.
Q: HOW DO YOU EMBRACE THE “BETTER THAN YESTERDAY” MINDSET IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
It doesn't have to always deal with working out. I do my best to better myself in some way or another every day and that could be as simple as making someone else's day better.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE FAILURE? HOW HAS THAT SET YOU UP FOR LATER SUCCESS?
Yeah, I broke my wrist competing in a competition and I was told I would never have the same strength in it again. So I knuckled down, did the work and made it stronger than it's ever been.
Q: WHAT’S ON YOUR FITNESS BUCKET LIST?
More World Records, Run an Ultra Marathon, Do Pull Ups on the side of a Helicopter and Parachute off of it.
